Launch Day

Well, hello there shiny new website!

Isn’t she a thing of beauty?! I decided I needed to up my game with the old business branding and wanted theburrowescape.com to represent me and the holiday cottage better, so please do have a snoop around and tell me what you think. I want this to be a space that’s fun to explore and hopefully gives you some value in terms of content, whether that be ideas on things to do/places to visit during your trip to Lincoln, or a bit of interiors inspiration, some light shopping in the new ‘ Shop The Burrow ‘section or booking yourself a wonderful staycation here.

First up I need to give Rachel at HeyWorld a massive shout out as she has brought this vision to life for me, Rachel is an absolute pro, and it can’t be easy working with someone as skatty as me but she just got the brief immediately and I couldn’t recommend her enough if you are looking for a new website or a bit of a rebrand. Thank you, Rachel – you are the best!!

Then I want to shoo you over to join the email subscribers list and get a cute Kay Warner guide to all my favorite Lincoln things to do; think best coffees, great date night spots and my favorite ways to spend a day around these parts. *Ping* straight into your inbox, plus you’ll always be in the loop for all things ‘The Burrow Escape’ and obviously you want to be part of that gang, right?!

We now have the spanking new ‘Shop The Burrow’ page (hopefully anyway - as I’m typing this blog post I haven’t actually finished setting it up haha!!) where you can purchase some of the fantastic things that make The Burrow Escape what it is – such as the soaps and lotions, reed diffusers and Maileg mice. I intend to expand this shop as we go and keep adding more lovely things that can be found in the holiday cottage. Spoiler alert for Clarkes Farm Fans; this is the beginning of bringing the Clarkes Farm shop online, so keep your eyes peeled (or subscribe for updates on the email list) for new things coming over there.

That said all support you guys give is always so appreciated, things like recommendations when one of your pals is looking for somewhere to Staycay in Lincolnshire, or any shares/likes/comments on the social media posts and thinking of the online shop the next time you need to buy a present or treat yourself all fill my little heart with joy and make all the brain scrambles worth it.

So that’s it, it’s done – the thing that has been swimming around in my brain for such a long time is out there for all to see, keep your fingers crossed for me that people like it, hopefully I get a few people subscribe for the Love Lincoln Guide and maybe a sale or two in the new shop who knows!! Obviously, what I really want is oodles of bookings but I’m pretty lucky with that already so let’s not aim too high!!

Thanks again for showing up and coming to take a peep at what it’s all about, speak soon.

Kay x
